Volunteer With BCT

Volunteers are central to BCT’s operations. Volunteers must contribute to specific tasks that allow us to meet our key results and objectives, and typically must commit to a minimum of 3 months working with us. If you would like to inquire about a voluntary role with us, please email us with a completed Volunteer Application Form and an up-to-date CV attached.

Research
We have a number of research interests in the area, linked to the different projects we are working on. We conduct baseline surveys and monitoring and evaluation of our projects, all of which require research expertise. Both Jenny and Charlie have extensive experience of supervising academic research in Uganda. If you are interested in conducting research with us please contact us by email.

Give

Bubugo Conservation Trust is currently funded entirely through donations as we are still young and establishing our programmes. We hope to transition to a financial model where half of BCT income is from grant funding for specific projects, 25% from offset payments, 10% from the sale of BCT-partnered products, and 15% from accommodation and support fees from volunteers and interns. We aim to deliver projects which can produce long-term incomes and foster sustainable impacts.

So while we are still growing, we are very grateful for any financial donations that will allow us to fully develop these programmes. Feel free to email us directly to discuss funding support.
